Features and benefits

Automotive Assistance

Wherever possible, all of the usual minor causes of breakdown related problems such as flat tyres and flat batteries will be fixed on the spot. If the vehicle needs further inspecting for mechanical repairs or parts are required, we will arrange to relocate the vehicle to the nearest approved mechanical repairer for further inspection.

Technical Advice

The technical roadside assistance team provide over-the-phone advice relating to getting vehicles back on the road in as little down time as possible. This is specifically related to vehicle safety warnings or dashboard lights which may appear or flash regarding any technical and mechanical information in relation to the safe performance of the vehicle.

Minor Roadside Repair

Any minor breakdown related repairs will be carried out where it is possible and safe to do so at the immediate roadside location.

Battery and Parts Replacement

We can arrange for the supply and fitment of vehicle a battery or emergency parts in the event that a Preferred Repairer is not open or within close proximity of the Breakdown.
Any non-critical (non-essential to get the vehicle to a drivable state) replacement parts will be charged back to the customer directly.

Emergency Fuel

In the event that you run out of fuel, we will deliver/supply an emergency supply of fuel where able to and where government regulations permit or transport the vehicle to the nearest service station.

Subject to the applicable towing limits a maximum of $10 including GST will be paid for emergency fuel per event.

Key Replacement – Locksmith Service or Courier Service

Where the keys have been lost, stolen,or locked inside the Vehicle, we can arrange for your spare key to be delivered, or arrange for a locksmith to attend.

You will be responsible for any and all costs of providing the service, under this standard cover.


If your vehicle is immobilised or not safe to drive, we will arrange for the transportation of the vehicle to any preferred repairer within the city Metropolitan area of 20km’s (kilometre radius) of the Breakdown, and 50km round trip in regional areas.

Any distance greater than 20 km’s in Metropolitan areas or 50km in country areas the vehicle to be transported a further distance will be charged per kilometre to the owner in line with the attending contractors’ fee.

Accident Coordination & Towing

If your vehicle has been involved in an accident, we will arrange to transport the Vehicle to either a preferred accident repairer or a repairer of the customers preference.

All associated costs of accident towing, will be at the Customers expense.

We will provide advice on the appropriate information required from the other parties involved in the accident, such as their name, address, contact numbers, vehicle registrations, insurance details and any witness details.

Escalated Complaint Cases

Any escalated cases are forwarded to management within 24 hours of the complaint being made. In order to resolve customer service issues quickly and accordingly.


To take up our roadside assistance offer, simply send us an email, with the date you would like the service to begin, with a copy of your monthly fleet declared in either CSV or Excel format. Roadside assistance invoices will be payable within 7 days of Issue.

The advised rate will be applicable for 12 months from beginning of service and renewal is subject to your insurance renewal request and re-rating based on frequency of events.

Rates are be increased annually subject to the CPI Australian Index published rate.
The services provided are available nationally across Australia and Tasmania only. Territories such as Christmas and Coco Island, Norfolk Island and Lord Howe island are excluded.

Standard roadside assistance Benefits and Entitlements

Flexibility with customisable Premium Benefits available upon request and at extra cost.

Reduced administration - Submit one declaration monthly/annually in advance for insurance and roadside assistance. Rentsure will issue separate invoices for Roadside Assist & Insurance.
